You're interested in finding out more about GHC? Great! The two venues for exploring a partnership with GHC are cluster events and the Discovery Center. Both are a chance for you to meet some of the planters, to see up close how we do things and check us out. Cluster dates or Discovery Center dates
Below is the flow for "next steps":
Initial contact – Talk with the network director
Have a phone conversation with the director regarding your interest in connecting and get further information about meeting with one of the regional directors, attending a cluster and Discovery Center.
Interview – Meet with one of the area directors
Have lunch or coffee get together with one of the regional directors/other GHC planters about where you are in the planting process, your target group/location and timeline, as well as any questions you have.
Cluster – Attend at least one cluster event
Cluster events are regular/monthly gatherings in each region. Typically a cluster is a short training, devotional and prayer time, dinner together and attending a baseball, football, or basketball game. This is a great chance for potential partners to meet other planters and get a feel for the group and see what we do.
Discovery Center – Attend a Discovery Center
The Discovery Center is a three and a half day assessment process to help you and your spouse discover your next step in ministry and be as successful as possible. It’s also another great opportunity for you to see how the network operates.
Conditions – Fulfill any conditions you received in your Discovery Center report
Following the Discovery Center you may have conditions to fulfill before moving forward with church planting.
Proposal/Vision Alignment – Submit your ministry plan for review and feedback
Write up a ministry plan to submit to a team of church planters and ministry leaders. The purpose is to help you not make strategic mistakes.
Contract – Revise ministry plan and review contract
Make any revisions to your ministry plan and review your contract for partnering with GHCN. Sign and return the contract.
Conference call - Orientation with Resource Center office
You’ll have a conference call with the Resource Center administrator to help you get set up with any financial or legal logistics in starting your church. The call includes orientation for services that the Resource center provides for you.
